About Hudson Carbon
By farming all the farms that make up Stone House Farm in a regenerative way, we have created a TRUE regenerative supply chain. Meaning, that food grown by the farms, grown on our inputs and then eaten by local people really comes fully circular and the dollars then also flow circularly and locally, in a resilient manner.
This defines a resilient economic system. And in the process of building this resilient local economy, we farm in a manner that sequesters more CO2 than we release, that breaks down methane and manages nitrogen. So our farm is net positive on the climate.

This farm is designed as a model to be replicated for how regional food systems can work while addressing climate change. What is significant is that we are two hours from NYC and have a massive demand nearby for food. Areas like ours make the most sense to convert to local diversified food systems. Peggy McGrath Rockefeller's greater vision to preserve local land for local food production was a really great vision that today we continue to carry out.

We started Hudson Carbon as a research project but it become so much more.
Regenerative agriculture is a powerful solution to help resolve our climate crisis.
Our mission is to implement a marketplace that instigates a radical shift to regenerative agriculture and ecological restoration.

As a team of growers, scientists, and environmentalists, we are creating a community around carbon.
We have made it our life's work to prove that land can be a valuable ecological resource while also producing viable agricultural yields.
